Ladies Classic Spring Tournament for Charity. June 5, 2021
Due to the circumstances surrounding COVID 19 our spring tournament was cancelled. We are looking forward to hosting the tournament in 2021.
Regular League Games
Tee times begin on the first Tuesday of June starting at 9:00 AM and continue each Tuesday through July and August starting at 8:00 AM. The sign up sheet is located on this website under Tee Times. Book your preferred time (early or late), how many holes you are golfing (9 or 18) and if you are walking or riding. The sports captain will then arrange the teams for each game and post it on the web site by Sunday evening.
The opening luncheon and annual meeting will be held on the first Tuesday after golf in July. Details and directions to the event will be posted on the web site and on the bulletin board in the ladies washrooms closer to the date. The social committee arranges a hot lunch for a small fee.
The August wind-up and club meeting will be held after the last game of the summer. Prizes will be awarded for the winners of the mini tournaments held throughout the season, chip shots, birdies, most improved, and the club champions.
Details and directions to the event will be posted on the web site and on the bulletin board in the ladies washrooms closer to the date. The social committee arranges a hot lunch for a small fee.
Golfing in September
We book a few tee times in September for those members who wish to continue golfing on Tuesdays starting at 9:00 AM. This is not part of our league play so players must sign up at the pro-shop. This is a great opportunity to get out on the course to enjoy the beautiful fall colours and a last few rounds with other members.
Also in September!
Sewer Lid Tournament – Nothing but fun fun fun!
Open to all woman, the annual Ladies Sewer Lid Tournament has been running for over 41 years. It originated from the Falcon Lake men’s group called “The Septic Tank Tournament” which unfortunately has now become debunked. Not to be outshined by the men, the local ladies decided to have their own tournament called “The Sewer Lid”.
More details regarding the sewer lid will be posted at the Falcon Lake Golf Course and under club news.
