Last year at this time we many of us were disappointed that the Ladies Classic had to be cancelled and here we are again, back in the same boat. No Classic. Now the first two weeks of golfing on a Tuesday with each other is cancelled too. Hopefully things will open back up after June 11th and a few of us can enjoy a couple of rounds in June with each other, but that’s up to the Manitoba health orders. No offence to my better-half but I think we’ve said everything we want to each other by now, wouldn’t it be nice to have a girl conversation with someone?

Remember last year?

Who would have thought that this would be the norm? We’ve got our fingers crossed that this Covid thing will be under control and we’ll be able to resume our regular league play as scheduled on July 6th, 2021. 

We still need your fees.

Only a few of us have sent in our fees so far. For those of us that want our RCGA memberships though the league, we have to send them to Manitoba Golf by June 15th. If you are using etransfer the question is “name of lake” and the answer is “Falcon”.  The fees are $35.00 for the league and $40.00 for the RCGA membership ($75.00 for both).

On a final note, we’re trying to streamline the process to make it easier for everyone to sign up each week. We’re asking for everyone’s patience as we try to navigate the technology to make this happen. We’ll send out more information as we work through this and some information regarding the annual meeting.
