So Long, Farewell….

I hate to go and leave this pretty sight.

How fast time flies!  It seems just like yesterday we were teeing off at the Ladies Classic in June. Now here it is, the last of our regular games over…many of us leaving the area until next spring.

We couldn’t have asked for better weather, not one game was cancelled with the exception of our last game.  No matter we got together anyhow for our Wind-up Party and it was fun!

Margaret Pilcher & Darlene Paterson

A great big thank-you to our Social Committee Margaret Pilcher and Darlene Paterson who prepared an outstanding lunch for our members.  Extra kudos to Darlene Paterson who hosted this year’s wind-up at her cabin in Falcon Lake.

Everyone agreed that having our social meetings in a member’s cabin is more intimate and fun.  In that regard we’re looking for someone to step up the plate and host our spring meeting.  Anyone? Email us at falconladiesleague@gmail.com.

A great big congratulations to our 2019 Club Champion this year Hildy Dyck.  You go girl!

A special mention has to go to Tracy Evans who stepped up the plate and resumed her role as this year’s sports captain after Dawna Wallace had to resign for 2019 due to a family emergency.  Hopefully Dawna will return.  Thanks Tracy!

One last piece of business…. WE NEED A VICE PRESIDENT!  Someone’s got to do it.  It takes no time.  The Vice President is more or less an ambassador role for the next two years.  Duties include greeting new members to our club.  How easy is that?  No pressure now, we’ll get you at our first meeting in spring.

With that…see you in the spring girls!
