Teeing up for a fantastic season!
Hello Falcon Ladies!
Guess What? Our season opener is just around the corner—July 2nd. Yip-ee! If you have not signed up yet – what you waiting for?
Can’t remember how to sign up? On our web site click on “tee times” located on the top menu. This will take you to a new screen…click on “sign-up sheets” which will open a “google docs spreadsheet”. Type your name under the date you want to golf on by the Sunday night. On Monday, come back to the web site (click on tee times then sign-up sheets) to see who you are golfing with and your tee time. If you have signed up after the teams have been organized and you can’t make it that morning then call the pro shop before your scheduled tee time and cancel it so your team won’t be waiting for you.
If you have had trouble accessing the sign-up sheets it may be because you do not have a Google account. No problem. Go to Google Docs (click this link) to sign up for your free Google account which will then allow you full access to the sign-up sheets.
Annual Meeting & Luncheon
After our opening game we have our fun-filled annual meeting and luncheon. We are asking everyone to go onto the sign-up sheets and indicate if you intend to stay after our opening game for the luncheon meeting. Please do this ASAP as we need to get a count for how many will be at the lunch. This years opening lunch will be held in the golf course restaurant—the cost is $15 each payable at the luncheon.
If you have not heard we are also asking any member who signed up for their RCGA card through our membership to bring another $5.00. Sorry. We did not realize that the fees had gone up when we were collecting our memberships in June.
Birdies, Chip-Ins and Ringer Board
Don’t forget that we keep track of Birdies and Chip-Ins! On our sign-up sheets, located on the bar at the bottom of the sign-up sheet, you will see a few other items marked “Birdies & Chip-Ins” as well as “Ringer Board”. For Birdies and Chip-Ins click on “Birdies and Chip-Ins” and it will take you to the place where you can record your name, date, and the hole you got your Birdie or Chip-In on for a chance to win a prize at the end of the season.
The Ringer Board is a great way to track your improvement over the course of the season. Click on the “Ringer Board” at the bottom of the sign-up sheet which will take you to the place where you enter your name on a blank section on the ringer board page. Enter your scores from your first game of the season played at Falcon Lake in the top line. Each time you improve your score on any one of the 18 holes, re-enter your new lower score on the line below. There will be a prize for the most improved player. You could be the lucky winner!!
See you on the course!
