Annual Ladies Classic Golf Tournament

Spring is here…I think.

There’s grass under there. Trust me.

In any event I’m sure all of you can hardly wait to hit the links on our great course at Falcon Lake Manitoba this summer.  We’re kicking off the season with our extremely popular Ladies Classic Golf Tournament on Saturday June 1, 2019.  The cost this year will be $120.00 which will include green fees, a cart, dinner, prizes and the putting contest.

This year the organizers decided that raising funds for Cancer Care’s Palliative Care Programs in Manitoba would be a great way to honour Jackie McIvor’s memory. I’m sure you all agree that it’s a worthy cause so that’s our theme this year—Palliative Care.

No doubt it will be difficult to top the $18,000.00 contribution that we managed to raise for Colon Cancer Initiatives last year but that doesn’t mean we can’t try!  We are in development of marketing materials to promote the event and are looking for a Corporate Sponsor.  Yes.  A Corporate Sponsor.  Any of you out there have a company that wants to be featured prominently as a supporter of this year’s tournament, or if you know of a company that would like to associate themselves as a supporter for this great event, we really want to hear from you.

Also, last year we had some great silent auction items that helped boost the bottom line on our generous donation. We are looking for silent auction items.  We’d like to feature the larger prizes on the promotional materials and in the marketing campaign so please contact us as soon as possible so we can get “the ball rolling”

Thank you for your support.  We’ll be in touch as things develop further.
