Although our first game of the season was rained out half-way through our round, with a healthy dose of thunder and lightning, some of us did manage to finish while others had the opportunity to get to the annual spring meeting at Liz Kunyckyj’s cottage on Falcon Lake earlier than expected.  Once again the social committee served up an excellent lunch including those incredible desserts!

After a delicious lunch and glass of wine the meeting went quickly — the minutes will be distributed via email to all of our members once our secretary Janet Potter has had the chance to organize them.

Just a reminder from our sports captain Tracy Evans to everyone to add your birdies and chip shots to the Chip/Birdie Sheet in the ladies’ locker room (include putts off the green). You never know – a prize could be waiting for you at the August luncheon!!!!

AND… be sure to post your score on the RINGER BOARD also located in the ladies’ locker room each time you play at the Falcon Lake Golf course. The purpose is to track your improvement over the season. There will be a prize for the most improved player.  Don’t forget, you could be the lucky winner!!!!  If you need assistance just ask our sports captain Tracy Evans or one of the other members for instruction.

Finally let’s all help out our greens keeper by fixing those divots and ball marks on the course.
